I have tonsilloliths for many years now. I noticed that when I sleep with pinched neck, whichever side, I will get it on that side. I have never had both sides form at the same time. The only time I get both sides is when I failed to clear one of the sides that formed from the previous night.

Gargle with salt or with the diluted bleach to kill bad breath/bacteria x2/wk is ok. But your nightly routine should be in these order:
floss,
brush your tongue,
gargle (x2/wk), then
lastly, brush your teeth with toothpaste.
The reason for these order because toothpaste is a chemical that needs to coat all surface of the tooth and tongue (the whole mouth). Toothpaste is designed to inhibit bacteria growth. Plus it smells good.

I met a young lady who could roll her tongue around in her mouth and white balls the size of a grain of seasalt would come into her mouth and she would spit them out. I never got close enough to smell them. Now I by this information I know they were build up of calcium or tonsil stones. Wow!

When I get a stone, it looks like teeth coming out near the tonsils. If I push the side of the pocket with a q tip, a stone comes flying out.
I usually get another stone a few days later . I think it s a collection of bacteria and mucous that calcifies.

I get tonsil stones all of the time and in only 14 I’ve git say that is definetly tonsil stones not tonsillitis I have both things many times but for me I don’t even notice the tonsil stones are there I wake up and they are on my lip?

I don’t even see the tonsil stones when I check my mouth but sometimes when I cough or sneeze it comes to my mouth. It doesn’t happen often.

I never had tonsil stones until I kissed someone who had them..my tonsils became swollen,,,my chest broke out and my lymph nodes became swollen as well. I never suffered with them until I kissed that girl. I have no doubt in my mind it was caused from a bacteria of some sort. I have been gargling,,I have always kept my mouth super clean,,,,my diet as well…but I have noticed that since that day the back of my ears become very stinky as well…I haven’t removed my tonsils because I cant take off work and I really cant affard it,,so for now I have to dig them out with pics and such….its absolutely horrible feeling like I have gravel in my throat… I do not think it is because of mucous and calcium and debris,,,the next day after kissing the girl and her body parts,,,,,,I had stones by the end of the next day

I have tonsil stones and my tonsils do look like the above pictures. I have naturally swollen tonsils about three times the size as normal ones. This can be accurate.
