Hi i hope u can help i continuously have urinary infections the consultant has advissd my doctor to let me keep antibiotics at home at all times so i can start medication immediately i feel the infection starting i have blood and protein in my samples. Today the pain and area has changed so im not sure what is happening iv always felt pressure and dragging after trying to pass water but today iv had pain high up under my ribs at the front not the back its a constant ache tht i feel i want to hold my hand over it plus id lost such alot of weight everyone is making comments but today iv swollen right up right were the pain is. This area is normally flat but its so swollen at the moment do you think there could be a connection to the urinary infections please. I would be so thankful for a reply , the doctor i have always gone to for 40yrs died about 5mnths ago the practice closed down so i had to move to another practice i dont know them and havnt got any confidence in them as yet as i see someone diffrent everytime i go so havnt built up any connection wth any of them. I dont know wether to mention i have suffered wth blood clots really bad the hospital sed they wer too numerous to count im only mentioning this to give you a better idea of my health.

I love this post it gets to it and there is no here and there or maybe this or that. Thank You it helped and since I am Stage3 of my kidneys its hard to understand how some Drs say its not painful. I have pain right now its 6/25/2017. So I am just waiting to see how its going to end up being.

This was a very helpful article. It helped relax me & pointed me toward soures of help. I am in third stage kidney failure & have severe kidney pains on both sides of my body. Until I can see my doctor on Monday, I will drink lots of water & rest. Thank you
