I am not sure of the cause of COPD in my case. I smoked pack a day for 12 or 13 years, but quit 40 years ago. I have been an outdoor person all my adult life. In reply to Sam.I didn't know t but had COPD stage 2. It was only due to asking for a test ( scan ) MYSELF. The doctors missed it. You have to be proactive.

Hi I had a Deveated septum in 1998 and the Doctor said it might work or not. It’s doesn’t work,i have flem ,itcy crusty ears all year long. When the weather goes from to dry humid condition,it’s worst. I’ll have nasal drip, sneezing and coughing up flem. Do i have to live with this the rest of my life?

All that are complaining of a cough, please check your surroundings. If you have plug-ins, candles and other type of fragrant scents in your homes, the toxins expelled can cause upper respiratory infections. Every time my roommate purchases the wallflowers from BBW I always get a sore throat/congestion in sinuses. We’ve officially taken out all fragrant products in our homes.

I have had this condition for most of my life, I am now 61. I have in the past few years sought medical help, tests for everything including x rays, the conclusion is I’m slightly asthmatic. I still have an irritating cough and still phlegm, a constant”Frog in the throat” Is also an annoying symptom…………….
